As Michigan’s cannabis scene continues to thrive, vape cartridges (commonly known as “carts”) have emerged as a go-to choice for both new and seasoned cannabis users. Their convenience, discretion, and potent effects make them ideal for anyone looking to enjoy cannabis on the go. At The Refinery, with locations in Kalamazoo, Detroit, and New Buffalo, you’ll find a curated selection of high-quality vape carts to suit every mood and preference. In this blog, we’ll look into the best vape carts in Michigan, highlight award-winning products, and share tips for choosing the perfect cart for you.
Why Vape Carts Are a Michigan Favorite
Vape cartridges are compact, pre-filled containers of cannabis oil that connect to a vape pen or battery. They provide a smoke-free option for enjoying cannabis, offering quick effects in a portable form. If you’re after relaxation after a long day, a burst of creativity, or an energizing lift, vape carts deliver a customized experience. Their popularity in Michigan comes from their user-friendly nature, discreet design, and diverse range of strains and flavors.
What Makes a Vape Cart Stand Out?
Not all vape carts are created equal. Here are key factors to look for when choosing a high-quality product:
- Pure Extracts: Carts made with live resin or full-spectrum extracts preserve the natural cannabinoids and terpenes of the cannabis plant, providing authentic flavors and effects.
- Reliable Hardware: Well-designed cartridges prevent leaks, clogs, and burnt tastes, ensuring a smooth vaping experience.
- Lab Testing: Reputable brands provide lab test results to confirm potency and purity, giving you peace of mind.
- Strain-Specific Options: Top brands offer strain-specific carts, allowing you to choose effects that match your needs, from calming indicas to energizing sativas.

- Check for Lab Testing: Ensure the product has been tested for potency and contaminants. Reputable brands share lab results on their websites or packaging.
- Match the Strain to Your Needs: Indica strains like OG Kush are great for relaxation, while sativas like Pineapple Haze boost energy and creativity. Hybrids offer a balance.
